Be Thankful

All the GREAT blogs out there have been very inspiring lately!
Over at Tatertots & Jello Jen made this very pretty sign out of an old cabinet door.  So...I made one for myself.

Tatertots & Jello

Here is my version.  I don't have circuit to cut out vinyl letters, nor did I have an old cabinet door.  But I did have full sheet clear labels and an old picture frame.  So I dry brushed my frame black and I printed out my Be Thankful sign on my clear label.  I stuck the label right to the glass and added some fabric behind it.  Now I have my very own Be Thankful sign as well.

**Sorry if the pics I blurry...I didn't notice that till I had put the disc in my computer.**

My Candy Corn Door Hanger

I had posted the other day how I love the candy corn door hanger that blogger Sew Totally Smitten had made.  I went home and made one for my front door too.

Here is my version of it.

I realized after I started this project that I didn't have any black ribbon.  In order to add a touch of black, I made two ruffles out of an old back t-shirt I had.  Adds a bit of whimsy don't ya think?

Beautiful.

Candy Corn Door Hanger

I love this idea.  It looks so cute and simple.
I'm going home and doing this one.
Supplies needed:
fabric...check
paint....check
sewing machine....check
stuffing...um...maybe Wal-mart bags will work
ribbon....check

Now I just need a little time to get it done.
I will show you my version tomorrow.

Painted Candy Corn Jeans

Here is a cute painted outfit for the fall.  It was easy to paint and really cute.  If you can paint straight lines and triangles you can do it too!

This is a pair of jeans I made as well.  I always paint something on the back of the jeans.  It makes it that much more interesting.

Getting ready for the fall!

Another idea from the web

I come up with some of my ideas on my own and I use ideas I find on the web too. Here is a very cute and simple pumpkin idea I found today. It is a no sew, no paint, no frills kind of project. I am going to use this idea at my house and thought maybe you would like to as well.

Happy Fall
The picture & idea is from Alisa @ The Sweet Life Blog.
